The largest hands on a living person (female) belong to Rumeysa Gelgi (Turkey), whose right-hand measures 24.93 cm (9.81 in) and left-hand measures 24.26 cm (9.55 in), as verified in Karabuk, Turkey, on 19 February 2022.

Rumeysa is the tallest woman living as of the verification date of this record. She says achieving these Guinness World Records titles have "motivated me to pursue my goals and have a more confident outlook in life". Rumeysa hopes that her records will help to empower good causes and raise awareness of overgrowth syndromes.
