James used to play the Screwball Scramble game at his neighbours' house when he was very young. When he discovered there was an official Guinness World Records title for completing the game in the quickest time, he decided to purchase his own version and begin practicing for the record. The trickiest parts to master were the orange steps leading up to the hoop and the catapult at the end, however he was eventually able to beat the previous record by over 10 seconds.
